I See What You Are Saying . . .

I have pushed myself to do this . . . well a little, it is a start. Several months ago, in one of CJane's post, she mentioned (paraphrased) how glad she was that her sister had not been camera shy. For me it posed a challenge -to quote "be enchanted with yourself." Well, I HATE having my picture taken. If I was photogenic or nice looking (I don't know which is the problem, my face or the camera) I would not mind, but for the most part I do not like pictures of myself - I can't find the enchantment.
Then this week, Linda, at 2nd Cup of Coffee is hosting her second "I See What You Are Saying," where all post a simple or funny or cute or heart felt video of themselves. Or maybe their family. Well, that posed a second problem, I don't really care to hear myself either.
So, I could not push myself to go all the way - you know, image and voice. So . . . . well, here is my entry for "I See What Your Are Saying" . . . .

ok ok, I did thicken up the accent some, it is not quite that bad, never know there was time in the Mid West, huh? Maybe one day, maybe on the third go around, I can rid myself of my yellow bellied ways and produce more of a me video, more than my shoed tootsies! S

o now go check out the real good videos, ones with faces, not feet!

Yes, we all are going to want to know where you work, and what does it say on the wall? I appreciate very much that you busted out of that comfort zone and did this because now I feel much closer to your ... shoes. Ha. Just kidding. They are cute shoes, though. I happen to love the accent and love your blog and am so pleased and honored that you jumped right in. I hope it was fun. Blessings!

From a fellow southerner who was horrified when i heard just how souther I sounded on my last I see what you're saying (you will have to go check it out, cause honey I think I sound even more souther that you) It took me a few days to get over the trauma of seeing and hearing myself in all my glory. I too dislike having my picture taken so I feel your pain. I solved hat problem or possible you can call it chicken with my Christmas edition video, it was a collection of various video clips and Christmas pictures. No souther twang to be found.
I enjoyed your video.
Blessings
Robin

Hey wait a minute! Linda didn't tell me I could do the video and not actually BE IN it.

You are so much smarter than I am. Well done!

I follow Cjane also and Stephanie Nielsen's tragic story. I don't thinkt he accident could ever take away her beauty though...she's amazing!

Now, onto your video! I love your southern twang! You have a beautiful voice.

I am born and raised in Texas and now live in Arkansas, and I don't have a Southern accent. I always wished I did. This video was cute . . . maybe next time we'll get to see you?

Intriguing look at where you work. What do you do? It looks like a test kitchen of some sort.
Cute vlog!

Well it was nice to meet you even if I didn't see you. My sister hates to be on camera too, but I made her! LOL! It was fun.

Cheater cheater. Now come on. If I can stand up there as the only second time male and act in front of all these women, the least you can do is just show your face and say hey. And by the way, I loved your accent.

Cute shoes! I liked your vlog. Nice and short and to the point. Can't wait to see more of you.

How clever...Welcome sign as you said welcome so we could 'see what you were saying.'

So, is your workplace one of those dinner prep places I have heard so much about? I am so intrigued by that concept...

It was still fun to hear your voice and see your feet. :)

Love how you are working up to showing your face. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I never like the way I look/sound, but I keep doing vlogs. LOL I guess it's because I love to watch others.

Don't be scared to put yourself on camera. I am sure the camera is not going to break.

Fun to hear your voice.

I am from the south and I just think an accent is charming. I love Paula Dean's accent because she sounds so gracious.

I like your shop and your shoes too. I feel the same way about the camera.

Happy New Year! pam

Hey, whatever works. No need to actually be on camera, just so as we hear your voice. Baby steps...

Hi there! I've been seeing your comments over at Merrie's and so it's nice to hear you on this fun vlog carnival! I'm not far south of you (North FL) so we're sorta neighbors. Hapy New Year!
