Even though we have had below normal temperatures lately, the chances of snow are slim.
Next to Nada!
Yet every year I have high hopes for a dusting . . . remember, no shoveling. I love hoping for snow.
Even a dusting shuts this area down. We do not know how to drive in it. Plain and simple. We have no reason to, except every 4 or 5 years. So it a flurry equates to a snow day. It is great!

This was January 2002 . . .Demolition D was so proud of the above snowball. He kept it in the freezer for quite awhile . . . after all, it took scraping the top of six trash cans lining the alley to come up with enough for that snowball!Then, with the snow on the trunk of the car. The Man created . . . .

See that hat The Man is wearing? That hat was knitted by my grandmother when I was little and lived in Denver. I wore the very same hat when I was just a kid. (note, he has on Denver Bronco gloves too!!)

Oh that is great! We always had ice in Athens growing up which also shut down everything. But man it was great to slide on!!

Same here in central Louisiana, a couple of flurries and we go nuts!! LOL
I love the snowman!! I lived in Georgia for four years. We were there in '92 when a blizzard hit the east coast, including Atlanta. I love the snow and look forward to it when we get it. It isn't often though.

That is so funny! Yeah, we had a quick evening snow in January this year. My son was outside with his friend making and throwing snowballs before it all melted.
