Playing along with Planet M's Monday Memories has been fun. Life has been a little too busy, over the past several years, to actually scrapbook or organize memories. This has been a great way to visit past fun times and go ahead and get something written about it.
March 2006, as we were researching to start this business venture, we did take a break for spring break and went camping with friends.
Are you shocked? Another post about camping? What can I say, we really have a good time going. This was probably the last time we have made it camping with our friends.
About an hour and a half south of us is Marianna Florida. We weren't sure about the campground, but we figured it would be fine for a couple of nights. Also in this area are the Florida Caverns.
So on this trip, no bear caves were dug, but trails were hiked . . .

You always have so much fun! Your camping experiences look idyllic... Me? Camping is always a catastrophe ...Haven't been in years, and that's a good thing...Smokey the Bear is probably thanking his lucky stars...LOL...You are amazing! Thanks for sharing your lovely memories! You are a fabulous mom and you have a wonderful family! So inspiring ~Janine XO
I love camping, too! In fact, we're headed out to my grandparent's (now deceased) farm to camp Memorial weekend. Not near as pretty as where you were...but lots of cousins and kids and family fun.
Very, very neat. Thank you for sharing. Celebrating family is sooo important. I hope you go camping again very soon!
The word glorious comes to mind. May seem extreme, but that is how I see it :)
Fish heads took the glory off for me! But, kids love fish heads, I know!
We used to enjoy camping, but now that we're older, we stick to RVing! Good memories, family time that your children will cherish!
That looks like so much fun. I'm trying to convince Hubby that we should camp soon before it gets too hot. He's spoiled from growing up in Utah where camping is always spectacular.
I have never been camping and was just telling someone recently that I need to camp with my daughter. This city girl was getting all the do's and don'ts.. Now, after seeing this photos, I'm really going to go now... Looks like a blast!
