Photo Phun Phriday - The Dessert Party

It's Friday Foto Finish is with Carrie . . . .go here and check out the links!

July was a BUSY month, and in the midst of all the running and spinning, we had two birthdays.

Will and The Man both are July babies, so this year we had family over for a Dessert Birthday Party!

No birthday cake this year . . . a Birthday Lemon Meringue Pie. Who says you can't candle up a pie!

We also had Mini Chocolate Bundt Cakes; Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies; Mocha Brownie Trifle, a jar of Whoppers, Key Lime Pie, Ice Cream and a little bit of healthy - strawberries and blueberries

In addition to family, Demolition D invited his girlfriend. We have never had a girlfriend more than a couple days, let alone inviting them to a party!

(your opinion please, should I paint that door behind them white, along with the all the molding??) This is the room we spent months getting the wallpaper off the walls!

Birthdays are fun! Next up, Demolition D's . . . .

Smiles!

Those desserts look fantastic!!

And, I think the door looks good the way it is. White would stick out like a sore thumb.

Oh, yum! A dessert birthday party is a great idea. So much more fun than just one cake!

I like the look of the wood.

Desserts look great. I agree, who says birthday's can't be centered around a pie. :) I think the wood looks good with the color of the walls.

Leave the wood alone!!! It would look really weird next to the bookcase...just sayin'.
And man that is a great idea for a birthday party!!! And I always have pie on my b-day!

What a great idea. I love the pie instead of the cake.

Oh my gosh, with all those yummy treats, who needs a birthday cake! Cool pie!

Ok, you have more "leave the door alone" but I'd paint, because I like the crisp look of white trim and doors. To each their own!
