ABC Wednesday - " O "

Officers overpowering an out of commission car,
obverting the car out of oncoming traffic.

As we were working the Church pumpkin sale, our attention was grabbed by a loud boom. The tire on the car blew and ripped to shreds. Before long, another car pulled up (un marked) and the two officers helped the lady
move her car off the road safe and sound.

goodness! i am glad this was not a worse outcome...
here we had a woman in a van, who was carpooling with 6 children. they were being rowdy, she turned to say something to them in the back and failed to see a railroad crossing.
the train hit them...
oh my the car was awfully messed up...but they got the children out, all unharmed, she however will need extensive surgery. they say it doesn't look good.
scary to think the seconds that between us and catastrophe.
so glad that thump did not involve you, my friend!

Glad everyone was safe and that the officers were right there to help so quickly.

I have to laugh though. When I saw your post titled ABC Wednesday it really threw me. I've been trying so hard to keep track of the days and I thought for a minutes that I was starting off the day on the wrong foot.

God bless you and your family today.

You guys are all too sweet!

Sorry Jules, Last week the link seemed to go up much earlier on Tuesday, so I thought I would get a jump on it and end up in the middle of the linksies. Well, they are beginning at 6 p.m. Greenwich time today, which will be like 2:30-3 EST... I think???

So glad the woman didn't loose control of the car. So nice for the officers to help her. I wonder if the tire got a warning ticket. ; )
