sad & lonely... yet somehow i see it's beauty as well.
i have not seen the movie Shudder...but, i can see why the movie got its name.and yet, the bldg is captivating (so to speak)...
Architectually beautiful! Yet,so hauntingly sad!
WOW! Now that is a very impressive structure! The architecture is stunning...and the emptiness echoes with stories...I wish I could hear them. Love you! Janine XO
I love the deep tales that emerge from a structure like this. If walls could talk kinda thing.
Just to say, "I love you!" ~J.
Lalani, my goodness....I had been able to stop by for a visit when you wrote about Traveler leaving. I loved your comparison of the things we deal with in life being like a box of chocolates. I am sorry that I got destracted and never wrote my hellos. And now look, you have been on vacation and so full of stories. I too love the beach and am so saddened by the destruction that will be happening.I agree with the couple of comments that I can see here to the side of my comment....the penitentiary building is beautiful. Until I saw the inside pictures I didn't know it was a prison. I can imagine many stories along those walls.God bless you Lalani and have a wonderful day today. Enjoy your "chocolates". :-)
Oooh, its grim! Bet the place has a story!Maggie XNuts in May
